I set this up so that I can ramble on about my lead (and plastic) mountain, my endless gaming, miniature, and terrain projects, and other

insights into various games.

You'll find lots of 'pretty pictures', various modeling techniques, and hopefully some inspiration for your own lead pile. You're bound to

find something amongst my games and photos that interests you.

Sit back, open a cold one, and enjoy.

Japanese/Samaurai Terrain: Perishable Barrels

The barrels are actual wood turnings sold in hobby stores.  A variety of shapes and sizes are available. Mine were labeled as 'pickle barrels' from the Hobby Lobby store.

Rice barrels (Kanji symbol for 'rice' painted on)

Sake barrels (Kanji symbol for 'sake' painted on)

Water barrels (Kanji symbol for 'water' painted on)
The top of the barrel has been painted blue with a layer of white glue to give it a 'water' look.
